This is wicked help. However, my issue is with preview. Any ideas why that would be slow? I did just figure out that i have deleted my desk top images even though they are still displaying. They aren't related are they?

Hi thanks for the explanation for how to use automator in mac os x to mass rename files, but when i right-click on one or more files i don't get the option "more". Any ideas? Thanks

I have a 2002 imac desktop that has been in storage for a few months, it keeps freezing up. If i walk away for 20 minutes, it's fine, but then freezes up again. I was going to check the ram but i don't see any activity monitor in my app folder?

I wouldn't think thats connected with preview being slow. What types of files are you trying to open? Preview can sometimes be slow to open large pdf files checkout this tip

Hi Mark. This feature seems to have been removed from the latest version of Mac OS X. Instead now you have to open Automator first follow my instructions and you should be prompted to choose files manually.. Let me know if this works for you. Thanks

Hi Doe, If you're running Mac Os X you should have the Activity Monitor application installed, its located within the Utilities folder inside Applications.

To me what you describe sounds like a RAM issue, which version of Mac Os are you running? (you can check this by going to the apple menu then clicking About This Mac)

Irrespective of whether you have unlimited internet or not, MMS image messages cost 36 pence each in the UK. Video MMS are charged at 60 pence.

How did you add the q&a link on your blog in wordpress/thesis?

Go to add new link in under the Link heading in the Admin dashboard. Here you can define and name the link you can also attach it to a category. Then go to thesis options and Navigation Menu, then use the Add more links option.

I tried a few things before I got it working so I may have missed something, let me know if you have a problem.

Go to Settings, Notifications. All apps using push will be listed, select the app your having trouble with and switch alerts to off.
